This is WelteWorks.

For over 25 years Mark Welte has been customer-whispering and he never grows tired of putting new coats of polish on a brand big or small, established or startup.

Mark—that’s me— is a Navy brat who grew up mostly on the east coast and in Germany, went to college in Michigan, and now resides in San Francisco. After starting my career at Landor doing naming and taglining, I worked at a London-based ad agency for seven years and then hopped around SF shops for a few more until taking a couple-year interlude to help build a jewelry business.

I then spent over 10 amazing years at Adobe and Salesforce, where I innovated sales and marketing messages across every customer touch point.

Outside of work I’m a bit of a raconteur and athlete: I swim in the SF Bay, bike, ski, teach yoga, and tell stories on stage. I have a Substack about “americanized zen,” was the President of the Salesforce Toastmasters, and have two daughters I can’t get enough of. I meditate daily, because it works. My latest interest is helping high school seniors write amazing college admissions essays.

Working with me you’ll find I’m able and fast, and full of ideas and insights that help you succeed. Let’s talk about your vision, and how I can help out.
